♥/ keep your face to the sun and you won't be able to see the shadow..that's what sunflowers do :)
My whole family has gone abuzz over the recent news from my dad of a likely very pleasant turn in his career life. My mum, especially, has been asking me to pray to God and ask Him to allow that miracle to happen. Now, my mum isn't a Christian but whenever she asks me to pray to God, my heart gets lifted up because I know she still acknowledges His existence. (:
So my dad, mum, bro and myself are really looking forward to this highly possible chance of a new life together as a family. Though everyone's keeping fingers crossed, I know it will come to pass. God is good.
This morning, my mum mentioned to me that the waiting is really killing her and I found myself laughing because I know that everyone feels the same! Even for my dad, who truly lives up to "a man of few words"..he keeps mum but all of us know that he is just as anxious for the outcome of things.
And I did agree with my mum that waiting can just about kill us at times..but the Holy Spirit reminded me that the same waiting that could kill actually builds us up too, it trains us in our patience, our endurance, our unwavering faith that all things will work for good.
(: I'm blessed by the waiting period.
