Anyway, I really had a fun National Day with two of my new connect grp members (Adrian and Jessie)...

We had dinner at Dallas Chicken and Ribs, a small UK-based fast food chain restaurant along Upper Cross St

A delight to find that they serve the real ol' Heinz Tomato Ketchup and look, handwipes! (:

We were walking past One George St and towards Boat Quay when we caught the Chinooks flying over our heads.

Highlight of the evening: the sighting of the aerial formation by our black knights that Adrian so wished to catch, during which dear Jessie was totally cured of from the terrible flu she had battled with all afternoon!

Those who managed to capture this shot (like we did) had to literally get it with backs bent backwards.

We also caught a short few mins' view of a rainbow in the sky over the Ritz. (:
It reminded me that God's a covenant-keeping God.

Fireworks caught while we sat with some 12, 000 people on the grass at the Padang. This was the best my camera phone could manage. And after less than 5 shots, we decided that the best camera is indeed the human eye and its memory....so the most fascinating scenes of the fireworks display were captured by our own eyes. (:
