I caught "Camp Rock" on my iPod (all thanks to the lovely Van) and am impacted by it. Or rather, by the songs in it. I've always been the kind that words/ lyrics leave deep impressions on. And I'm really loving this song by Demi Lovato now, "This Is Me".

The movie's about finding security in who you really are and not be afraid to show it to the world. She sung this song in the movie and I felt it hit near home.

I haven't had the best self-esteem around and it was during my teenage years when I was hit the hardest. I remembered my teacher even questioned my mum one day asking why I often walked with my head looking down to the ground.

And recently, I was reminded of this again and the importance of having a healthy self-esteem. I begin to realise, through numerous incidents in the past years, how God had been at work in this area of my life. And I'm happy to say that I'm a more confident Lynn today, someone who's secure and who knows that she does have something to offer this world (:
