"Hurh, wait til...!" [ 8:55:00 pm ]

These days, I noticed a trend in my activities: going for baby showers and NS enlistment dinners!! :D

I sort of moaned to my mum the other day that my pockets are so stretched becuase of these dinners and gift-getting..and her reply?

"Hurh, wait till you reach 25 and all your friends start
inviting you to their weddings!!"

And the sound of it seems rather scary..but the good thing is that I really love get-togethers and weddings, baby showers, NS enlistment/ ORD dinners are just the perfect times for everyone to reunite again, (:

Back to baby showers, I was at one of my colleague's on our Hari Raya public holiday and I think babies are really amazing little miracles. That just about make us all miracles of God too. My colleague, Amy, is my senior at work - the one who trained me up and was so patient with me. It happened all throughout her pregnancy and I think she's so wonderful and am truly grateful for her. And I must say this, I was and still am the only privileged one who got a touch of the Mommy's baby bulge! I still remembered the day when Amy motioned me to quickly get to her desk and when I did, she caught my hand and placed it right in the center of her bump! Right where the baby is and I felt him move! It remains etched in memory, how I felt a beat of life that day. It is so indescribable.

It's gonna be a more than ordinary October!
