CLAP! [ 2:32:00 pm ]

Hey guys,

just wanna say something about CLAP! (Community Life Arts Programme) here..it's an outreach effort to our community by Central Singapore and over the years, it has gone from heartland areas to the Central Business District of Singapore.

And on every last Friday of the month, there will be this Urban CLAP! stage set up with chairs on the grass patch at Raffles Place park..and hundreds of people will gather around to watch the live perfomances after work. Some enjoy the music while waiting for their spouses or friends while others take a seat and relax on a Friday evening. It's really nice, I love being there too after work on those Fridays, just standing there to catch a couple of songs before heading for cg. (:

Love how it puts a stop to the fast-paced tracks of our society and all the executives and professionals just loosen up to take in some laidback feel in an urban setting. Wonderful.

Anyway, Urban CLAP! is open to all and if you're interested to get up on stage to perform with a few friends, why not? (this is a hint, people..you know who you guys are..) plus, I'd love to perform too, maybe we can come up with something. I think it's a good way to contribute to society too, :)
