Finally had my long craved-for Pizza Hut meal with my really fun bunch of sec sch classmates. :)))

Anyway, I'm so happy and satisfied that we managed to pull off a birthday surprise for one of the gals. It's her actual today (Sat, 29th) and I love that near expressionless due to "overshock" look on her face when she saw the group of us at the table, singing her a birthday song. ^.^

After this happy episode, I wish my birthday's somewhat nearer. Of course it is, as the days go by, but I do wish my next to come faster, faster. Although it's true that the hype during birthdays are not as high once we pass a certain age, the significance of an individual's birth date still prevails in all.

I dropped by Attributes @ Expo this afternoon and I bought yet another book! Yes! That's Lynn for you, I really can't keep my hands, eyes, mind off books. (:
The book's by Mary Simpson (she's from CCC) and it's titled Dreamgirl. The insides caught my fancy because of those beautiful photos of young, confident women but I love its contents. It's about knowing your dream (God-given purpose) and the girl (you, knowing yourself - who you are).

And one of its pages had the author saying that two most important days of our lives are:

the day you are born
the day you discover why

And I think that's very true. I strongly believe there're no accidental births on earth, no matter how each of us came about. And just as we all already knew our birth dates, we're all on our way to discovering the purpose of our birth. Pst Kong once said this and it's stayed in my mind:

There will come a moment in my life, your life, when we will
know what we are on earth for. We will be like Esther, who found herself in the
kingdom at a time like that and know that she was born and placed there for
"such a time as this".
