A hair affair and more [ 8:48:00 am ]

Srico's leave finally ended and I got my much needed haircut after like a long, long time. hahaha..I think I'm gonna be sticking to him forever. Along the way, I've learnt valuable lessons on staying loyal to your hair stylist. (:

And the interesting thing is, God often speaks to me when I get my hair done. When I first made the decision to let go of my long tresses and allow Srico to "zi you fa hui", I felt really happy and it was a kind of release, really..because I was so satisfied with the end result and guess what, he was really happy and satisfied at his work on my hair as well.

I realised there and then, that everytime I allowed Srico to hold the reins of the affairs of my hair, I am releasing him into a place where he can perform to his fullest potential and go up another level from where he is.

And I guess it's truly the same for everything. At work, when your boss shows total trust in you, he/she actually allows you to freely do all that you have in imagination, giving life to ideas once dead...and then, you excel even more! (:

* And so, I'm also very thankful for the amount of trust that Ms. J has in me. Her trust enabled me to initiate better things and propose more creative ideas at work.

Well, my post seems to be quite random again. I'm just typing out what I'm thinking about...

And just to let you guys know, Srico went to London during his three weeks' of leave!! I really envied him when I heard about it..and I'm so determined to start planning for a London trip within the next five years. :) I think it's doable right? Maybe it can be my honeymoon destination..no, ONE of them..hahaha...(spaces out dreamily...) :D

But who knows, I might be in London for biz trip in the near future!! (prays hard..)
Anything is possible and I just got to believe it. (smiles)

Lastly, a shout-out to Shihui, my bestie since sec sch crazy teenage years...
