Lunch express from the office desk :))[ 12:32:00 pm ]
Christmas is coming and it seems that everywhere's a tad quieter.."recession", "credit crunch", "retrenchment" seem to be written over faces and felt through the atmosphere.
But let's break that, man! There's always still a reason to be happy, a cause for celebration :)
Gonna put this in here from Happiness Is... by Dr. Bernard:
God is good, and heaven is forever. And if those two facts don't cheer you up, nothing will. - Marie T. Freeman
Trying to grab, stir and pull myself up..it just won't do to have a tired spirit during this time. The one thing about big festive seasons is that people tend to get super hyped and right after, they slip into a downhill of their emotions. hmmm...pacing of self --- important!!
And I felt quite sleepy in office earlier in the morning. Probably due to the unusually late night I had..I'm happy to be using unusually here because I have indeed been trying to get to bed as early as I possibly can each night. I was on the line with someone yesterday and what I spoke to her made me feel so thankful to God, and more so, so privileged that I can actually be sharing with her and saying that I understand because I had been there, done that, taken a picture and framed it up on the walls of my heart.
I realised though we may not immediately know why many things in life happen to us the way they do...the beautiful thing is that one day, it will be shown to us just why so they did and had to happen.
Something God revealed to me in a greater magnitude this year is in every thing I experience and every situation I face, He is in it; there with me and for me. But most of all, He is definitely in control.
So now I wear the marks of my past on the sleeve of my heart In the hope that they could help others with their broken and their loss.
