ONE can make a difference

There's so much on my mind. It was a rather slow-going Monday maybe because most people are still in the festive mood and thus, dragging themselves back to work and to school. But I am really enjoying this CNY.
Amidst the exhaustion after all those many many house visits, I'm grateful for the time I have to spread love and joy around. Recently, I realised that a younger cousin whom I haven't been very close with actually likes me and looks up to me quite a bit. I happen to discover it some time back and I feel that it's an honour to gain her respect.
It touched my heart, to come to realise that what I do and say do make a difference in the lives of my family members. I'm thankful for opportunities to make a greater impact in her life this CNY. :)
Things are changing so fast, so fast. Every thing is accelerating and it's good! I can see that 2009 is a year in which many will arise and be who they are supposed to be.
