what's not on facebook is here :)[ 11:30:00 pm ]
heys, I was actually waiting for people to tag me on the "25 random things" and I don't want to go on waiting anymore..hah, so have decided to put my own list up here :)
1. I broke down in tears and cried from the first line of the first Praise song sung in the first church service I attended and throughout the sermon that Pastor Kong preached, all the way till the point of altar call..right up to the time of after-service debrief. It's true! and I still am and always will remain in awe of how God touched my life. 2. My brother and I are so close - it is not unusual for us to finish each other's sentences, voice out the same thoughts in the exact same words at the exact same time. yea, think: TWINS! except that we're really 5 years apart in the years we've lived. :) and yes, countless of people (including distant relatives) have mistaken us to be a dating couple....
3. I am eternally grateful to my pre-school principal, Ms. Teo, who introduced Jesus to me. She taught me to read the bible and even though it was another 6 years before I gave my life to Christ, it was because of what she did that had me tell all my primary school friends when asked: "I'm a free-thinker; but more to the Christian side." :)
4. I absolutely love to sing. Mrs Chua, my music teacher in primary school, spotted my ability to sing and roped the then nine-yr-old Lynn into the choir she was so proud of.
5. I often havedejavu moments.
6. I don't give up easily. I'm one who cries her heart out when she falls but quickly picks herself up to move on and try again..the next time, harder.
7. I studied Intelligent Building Technology at Temasek Poly for a year before going for my private diploma in Mass Communications.
8. I love my personal space a lot and I need time alone to unwind every single day.
9. I prefer pop-rock music but somewhere towards the last quarter of last year, I discovered Olivia Ong and Joanna Wang and thereafter, begin to have a liking for jazz too.
10. I love writing; I express myself best in words.
11. Gloomy skies with super dark clouds and night skies make me think a lot.
12. There's a work addict in me; I love to stay back in the office in the evenings that I sometimes hate to say goodbye to the weekdays.
13. I am not good at taking care of my gadgets: handphones, iPod.. :x
14. I LOVE YELLOW!
15. Nobody ever thought I will enter the banking industry. I nearly went full-fledged into scriptwriting if not for that call to get into banking. Now, I'm totally in love with being in this sector. God works in mysterious and wondrous ways. :)))
16. I have jet black hair that has never been dyed before. I'm loving it.
17. Whenever you hear me chattering non-stop, that's why you know I'm tired and still trying to keep things up.
18. I usually sleep with the covers right up to my neck, no air-con and no fan.
19. Growing up, I always told my mum I want to be married by the time I'm 23. But that has gone up a couple of years now and my mum once told me her fear that I might just pick any guy to get married at my then ideal age of marriage. LOL, Mums! heh...
20. I was born quite tan but over the years, (sad to say) I seem to have gotten fairer and fairer.. :(
21. I'm known to be a Doraemon; I have many things in my bag that most don't usually bring out.
22. I disliked my Chinese name so much in the past because it was the name of a brand of detergent that still exists till this day. But that changed when I got a revelation of what my Chinese name truly mean during my time in Bible School. It means a clean, pure spirit.
23. I laugh a lot. I've been an optimistic person since young. I always hope for the best.
24. One of my greatest idiosyncrasy is that I brush my teeth a lot. I am very particular about my breath and I always have to have mints with me.
25. I am very good at remembering phone numbers and birth dates!
