Love waits [ 11:50:00 pm ]

I've got Brooke Fraser's Love Is Waiting on my mind the whole day, I don't really know why. Or perhaps, I do :) Been thinking a lot about seasons and I'm coming to a point of realization that it is a time of waiting out for me.

I'm not talking about love relationships here. No, am not.

I was thinking about the truth of this: Love waits. And it doesn't just apply to BGRs.

The song just kept coming to my mind and while pondering about it, I just thought.. love waits.

Sometimes, we are required to wait out..even when we know so surely of what's coming our way and that which is in our reach. Love, if we choose to follow it, waits.

While watching a repeated telecast of a drama serial on Channel 8 yesterday, I was a little puzzled. The last episode was on air and a female character had laid on the hospital bed, still in coma after 3years. Her young son was adopted and brought up by her close friends. Why not allow her to "leave this world"? Like uh, euthanasia, you know..

Because there is still a glimpse of hope, as long as a day comes with her still breathing..this hope allowed loved ones to hold on and wait out. Love waits.
