take a deep breath & enjoy the ride :)

I was talking to Vanessa and we chatted about how so many things seem to be coming our way and with the mounting workload, responsibilities are increasing too. Then I said something which I feel is so right from the spirit: Take a deep breath, enjoy the ride.
I like that statement. :)
Many times, we do everything we think we should be doing and yet lose sight of the reason why we do those things. Recently, I have been thinking on how am I to juggle the things in my life; like I try to look really further into the near future - when I read my degree, progress further into my career path, get into married life and then motherhood... I know that's a quite a huge chunk to bite for now..still, I felt I needed to really sit down and view these impending seasons of my life and how am I going to cope plus manage them when they do come.
Anyway, God's been very encouraging :) He began to show me how things will be like this and they have to be -- fast-paced, with everything on the go and everyone needing to be on the ball. I guess it's in His plan, we're the people who will see acceleration in whatever we do. Just think about the pace the world's going with technology's advancement. Fast is an understatement.
And I believe that when things are going the way they are, we too, will be able to handle it. But I was reminded though, by one thing God had said to me..and that's to be unfazed by all else. Sometimes, many things can become a source of distraction (even unknowingly at certain points) but it's always important to focus on God, His love for us, His heart and character.
All around us, things can quicken and go as fast as is needed. But where it concerns Him, spending time with Him and learning from Him, listening to Him..we got to slow down, be totally focused and unfazed.
Romans 8:37 (MSG)
None of this fazes us because Jesus loves us.
NKJV says
Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us
So if you're feeling bogged down, remember to get back to the start again where the focus is clear. And while you do so, take a deep breath and enjoy the ride.
