RE-alignment + officially catsick [ 8:41:00 pm ]

I'm officially catsick, people! There's no such word of course, I churned that up from my own vocab. I had mistaken another cat down at the foot of my block of flats to be the one which had gone missing for nearly 1.5months now.. and I gave that poor cat a scare when I rushed towards it in sheer excitement. Much to my disappointment and sadness though... :(

That missing cat had been our resident tabby for nearly 5 years now and it had already become part of my family members' lives too..since it first started learning how to come up to our home for food and water daily. It's such a darling, even my mother who dislikes cats eventually got so captured by its likeable ways.......

Okay, shall put that aside now.

I had a good conversation with a church member just now, while on the way home. Thank God for the convo, because through it, He reminded me of why I started doing what I am doing... :)

JS: So why do you want to be in the cell group ministry?

Lynn: Wow, that's a very good question. I guess everything boils down to wanting to be where God's heart is..and He loves people, so it makes me want to be there and love them too.

JS: Mmm, ya. You're right.

Lynn: It's really amazing when you see lives change..the reward is beyond material. Very satisfying. And when you had gone through what you go through and can use your life's story to share and touch others, it's really very amazing.

I'm so glad to have this conversation. It's still fresh in my mind and I want to always remind myself of my answer to the question. I think there are times we need to stop and ask ourselves such questions so that we can always have something to help re-align us back when the need arises.

And it's the first time I ever hold a conversation with this person. God speaks in very amazing ways.
