I was very, very encouraged by Dr. A. R. Bernard's words on Tuesday:

PERSISTENCE: "This is the key to success."

At where I was seated, Holy Spirit reinforced what I carry with me as the "motto" of my life; what I always tell myself to live by: Never give up!

Lynn, don't give up, never give up..don't let go.. That's what He told me.

And I'm so encouraged by that because the one thing I know I have within me is persistence.

Many times, it seems like my efforts are futile and my actions seem foolish..like people may ask me why I still continue in what I believe & do the things I do......but this is what you get, the journey of persistence is like that.

People always ask me why I can be so optimistic of life, why I can always find a positive side to things..for some, they admire this and yet for others, they simply don't understand..but the answer to that is because of persistence. It's just about holding on and not giving up.

Yesterday, I gave my first tuition lesson in a long while to a new student of mine. As I taught her, I saw the logo of her school and..its motto? "Persevere To Succeed"

It was a very God-moment for me. This will be with me for a long, long time :)
