Under Construction

Dr. Bernard always have mind-blowing sermons. I love them.
But I do remember when I was much younger and in church (around 13-14yrs old), I couldn't appreciate his teachings because they were so deep to me and I found it tough to digest. Thank God teenagers and their young minds grow up! Heheh..
I find myself grabbing his words now, I am gonna dig up my past notes of his sermons and feed on them. :)
Anyway, Dr. Bernard spoke on us being a WIP and I totally agree. This is actually a term I always have to use at work and "BUC" too. It stands for Building Under Construction. So each time I use them, I'm reminded that I am a work in progress too.
When I heard Dr. Bernard say this in closing his sermon, I was greatly encouraged. Because I've been thinking and reflecting a lot on my lifetstyle, attitudes and behaviour. Sometimes, I get frustrated with myself and often try to push myself harder for greater progress.
But God had kept reminding me that I'm making progress; it's important to give myself time to make more and better changes too. And the beautiful thing is: in the midst of our being constructed, we can find ourselves helping to change lives too. :)
Thankful for this. And I'm gonna learn to be patient with God, people and myself.
