Go the way before doing the works
Something good happened to me today,
As I woke up and began to pray,
For God to forgive my ways,
To use me from this day.
He showed Himself in a special manner,
Oh yes, I know He heard my prayer.
He said: "My child, won't you go the narrow way?
There'll be problems to conquer and prices to pay,
But didn't you say you wanna do as I say?
Then come with Me, and let me show you My Way.
Greater works. Much greater works.
You're meant for them. You know you are.
So stop procrastinating, don't hesitate.
The ransom for you has long been paid.
Let's take a look now, at what you can trade.
Your life that is, for this you've been made.
Let Me take all of you, in exchange for all of Me.
This day I've awaited; the joy of it--on the cross I did see.
Greater works. You're meant to be.
My child, won't you listen to Me?
Go the way, before doing the works.
Seek after eternity, not temporal perks.
Greater works..yes you're meant for them.
